With warmth and care, Matt
Protecting what matters most is something I care deeply about—your family, your home, and the life you’re building here in Waterloo and across the Cedar Valley. At Matt Hennig State Farm, I focus on helping neighbors feel confident about their Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and Business insurance by making sure coverage actually fits real‐life situations, not just checkboxes on a policy.
I’m a proud Waterloo resident, married for 22 years, and the father of three amazing kids—including a proud Eagle Scout parent. Community matters to me. I stay involved as a Scouting America volunteer, serving as Assistant Scoutmaster for Scout Troop 29, Committee Chair for Scout Troop 55, Shooting Sports Chairman and Director for Winnebago Council 173, and a member of the Winnebago Council Executive Board. I also volunteer with Junior Achievement because helping young people prepare for the future is something I believe in strongly.
Professionally, I bring more than 20 years of insurance and financial services experience to the table. I’ve been serving State Farm customers since 2008 and have proudly supported families and small businesses throughout the Cedar Valley and Waterloo since 2016. I earned my B.S. in Marketing and Management from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed my ChFC through The American College of Financial Services. I’m also a State Farm Ambassador Travel Qualifier, recognition I value because it reflects consistent service and commitment. Beyond insurance, my office offers free notary, copier, and fax services for our customers—small things that make life a little easier when you need them most.
Whether you’re preparing to protect a new vehicle, securing coverage for your home, or thinking ahead about Life insurance for the people who depend on you, my team and I are here to help with customized guidance and a neighbor‐first approach. Stop by or give us a call anytime—we’d love to connect and help you feel confident about your coverage.
Here ready to serve you! -Matt
